On 2 October 2026 a white Force van pulled in under a hotel porch in Kashmir with the group's bags strapped to the roof rack, and our reel put a "Welcome to Kashmir ... & Girls" card on screen. That is a ladies trip to Kashmir the way we plan it: one vehicle for the whole group, people waiting at the hotel, and the route sorted before anyone lands. The caption says it plainly: "Planning a ladies group trip to Kashmir? We arrange complete Kashmir tour packages including hotels, private vehicles, sightseeing, Shikara rides and local assistance."
Watch it on our Instagram: a ladies group arriving at the hotel in a white Force van, 2 October 2026
Two more reels from the same week show the other half of a group trip: the welcome itself. Below we go through all three, then the practical part. Group size and car, rooms, a pace that works, what to wear in October, food, the safety questions women ask us, and what it costs.

What our three welcome reels show
30 September: the arrival, and "like family"
The 30 September reel opens on a grey sedan with a yellow stripe rolling in under a hotel porch, with a "Welcome to Kashmir" card naming the two guests (we don't repeat guest names on the blog). The caption is about what happens after the car stops: "A warm welcome, a comfortable stay, beautiful views and a team that takes care of you like family."
It then lists what the package behind it covers: handpicked hotels, a private vehicle with an experienced driver, breakfast and dinner, a shikara ride, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonmarg and Srinagar, and 24x7 assistance through the trip. It signs off with a line we mean: "Guests come as travellers, leave as family."
1 October: shawls and a welcome drink
The 1 October reel moves inside, to a hotel lobby. A family stands around while a man in a black shirt carries a tray of glasses with a red welcome drink, and one guest already has a pink stole around his neck. The on-screen card welcomes the family by name. The caption says we want guests to feel "at home" from the moment they arrive, wrapped in traditional Kashmiri shawls and greeted with "a refreshing welcome drink".

Guests from one of our June 2026 trips, with the Kashmiri stoles we gave them.
2 October: the ladies group
The 2 October reel is the one this post is built on. Same hotel porch as the 30 September clip, but this time it's a white Force van with luggage piled on the roof, and the caption is a straight pitch for ladies group trips: Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonmarg, "private & comfortable transportation", handpicked stays, local assistance throughout and 24x7 support.
That's how we want the first ten minutes of a group trip to feel: the car turns up, the bags come off the roof, and you sit down with a welcome drink before anyone talks about tomorrow.

How we plan a ladies group trip
Headcount first, then the car
The number of people decides almost everything else. On our Kashmir cab service page the rule is simple: an Etios for one to three guests with light bags, an Innova Crysta for four to six or a lot of luggage, and a Force Urbania for a bigger party. For a group of women we'd rather put everyone in one vehicle with one driver than split you across two cars. One car means one plan, one set of bags, and nobody standing at a viewpoint waiting for the others to catch up. More on sizing in our Kashmir group tour notes.
Rooms, and who shares with whom
Decide the room split before you ask anyone for a price: twin sharing, triple sharing, or a mix. It changes the quote more than people expect. We pick a Srinagar hotel that can take every room for the group, so nobody ends up in a different building. Whoever you book with, us included, ask for the hotel names and the room split in writing before you pay.
A pace that works for a group
Most groups want the four places in the captions without rushing. A shape that works for five or six days:
- Arrival, Srinagar. Airport pickup, hotel or houseboat, the welcome you saw in the reels, then an evening shikara on Dal Lake if the group has energy left. A group that lands late doesn't set off for Pahalgam the same afternoon.
- Gulmarg day. Back to Srinagar in the evening. Gondola tickets are an add-on, not part of the base package.
- Pahalgam day, or one night there if the hotel has rooms for everyone. Baisaran is closed until the end of 2026, so we don't put it on the plan.
- Sonmarg day up the Sindh valley.
- Srinagar at your speed. Mughal gardens, the old city in daylight, and shopping.
- Departure, with a buffer before the flight.
It follows the framework on our 5-day Kashmir itinerary, stretched a little because groups take longer at every stop. That's fine. It's a holiday, not a race.

Leave a proper half-day for shopping in Srinagar. Shawls, stoles and pashmina are the big buys in Srinagar. Ask for a bill, don't buy in a hurry at the end of a long day, and read our pashmina shopping guide before you go.

What to wear on a ladies trip to Kashmir in October
October days in Srinagar are usually mild and the nights turn cold, and Gulmarg and Sonmarg are colder than the city. Weather is never guaranteed, so pack for the range, not the forecast. Our Kashmir in October guide covers the month in detail.
- Layers you can take off in the car: a warm inner, a sweater or fleece, and a proper jacket for Gulmarg and Sonmarg even if Srinagar feels pleasant at noon.
- Walking shoes you've already worn in, with grip. Meadows, pony tracks and garden steps are hard on new shoes and heels.
- A stole or dupatta in your day bag for shrines and the old city, where covered heads and shoulders are expected.
- Sunglasses, lip balm and a power bank. Cold drains a phone faster than you'd think.
Want a pheran for photos? Srinagar has plenty of shops. For other months, see our Kashmir packing list by season.

Food: veg, non-veg and Jain
Tell us at booking if the group is pure vegetarian, and we plan the hotels and stops around that. Jain meals on request. If your group eats meat and wants a proper Kashmiri feast, a Wazwan dinner in Srinagar can be added when a waza has the date; it isn't included by default. Read how our UAE guest ended up at a local wedding in our Kashmiri Wazwan post.
Is Kashmir safe for women? What we tell groups
No honest agent can promise "100% safe" for anywhere, and we won't. What we can tell you is how we run a trip, which is the same for every guest and written on our Kashmir safety notes page:
- You travel in a private car with a driver we know. It isn't a shared seat.
- Gulmarg and Pahalgam are daylight drives. A late flight ends in Srinagar, not on the highway.
- If you want to walk the old city, do it in daytime and we keep the car nearby.
- Our office numbers, 7006085655 and 9596044418, are the emergency call.
Simple habits help too: share your live location with someone at home, save the driver's number and ours before you land, and carry the same ID you flew with. Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonmarg are busy with Indian families and groups right through the season.
Travelling alone? Join a group instead
Not every woman has three friends free on the same dates. If you'd like company, our strangers group trip runs Delhi to Delhi for ₹17,999 per person: 5 nights and 6 days, by bus from Delhi, with stays, meals and sightseeing included. It's a mixed group of people who don't know each other, not a ladies-only departure, so ask for same-gender room sharing when you book. The full story is in our Kashmir trip with strangers post. Prefer your own car? That's our Kashmir solo tour.
What a ladies trip to Kashmir costs
"Total kitna lagega?" Our Kashmir tour packages start from ₹33,000 per person (2026, twin share). For a ladies group the final figure depends on how many of you there are, the room split, the hotel category, the month and the vehicle, so we quote it for your dates rather than print one number.
Ask what's inside the price. On our packages page, flights, Gondola tickets and skiing are add-ons. An evening shikara on Dal Lake starts from ₹800 (2026) if it isn't already in your plan. Tolls and parking: confirm them on the quote.

How we'd plan your ladies trip
- Send us the headcount, the month and the room split first. The car and hotels follow from that.
- Keep the group in one vehicle if you can; we'll tell you which one fits.
- Give arrival day to Srinagar and the welcome, not to a long drive.
- Pack layers and broken-in shoes for October, plus a stole for shrines.
- Tell us about pure veg food at booking, not at the hotel. Jain meals on request.
- Get hotel names, room split and inclusions in writing before you pay.
FAQ
Do you run ladies-only group departures?
We don't list a fixed ladies-only departure on our site right now. We plan private trips for ladies groups who travel together, like the group in our 2 October reel. If you're one woman looking for company, our strangers group trip from Delhi is mixed; ask for same-gender room sharing.
How many days do we need for a ladies trip to Kashmir?
Five to six days covers Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonmarg at a pace that suits a group. If you want slower days or an overnight in Pahalgam, look at seven.
Can you arrange Jain or vegetarian food?
Pure veg, yes: tell us at booking. Jain meals on request.
