December, January, and February. Gulmarg holds snow. Srinagar may only be cold and grey. Sonmarg and the high passes are not a plan. Pahalgam is a maybe, after we see the road.

The old city, a houseboat only if it is heated, and short drives. The Mughal gardens are a poor use of a January day. Put the energy into Gulmarg, then read the winter tour for the nights.
A Pahalgam overnight plus Sonmarg plus a garden morning will not fit, and some of those roads will be shut. Build one Gulmarg day with a spare Srinagar day for weather. If the point is the slope, use the ski page, not this one.
