Our latest reel (26 September 2026) is for anyone who wants to see Kashmir but has nobody to go with. What the reel shows
The cover shot is a young man sitting in the clear, cold water of the Sind, boulders all around him and pine forest on the far bank, with "Kashmir strangers group trip, ₹17,999" across the top and a Hindi line about the river Sind. The Sind is the river that runs beside the road from Srinagar up to Sonamarg, so that water is glacier melt and it is properly cold, even in summer.
The caption lists what the trip is: Delhi to Delhi, 5 nights / 6 days, a strangers-only group, Kashmir sightseeing, "fun, memories and new friendships". Seats are limited, and for the full itinerary you DM us "KASHMIR".

That's the whole point of the price. Travel, stays, meals and sightseeing are in the ₹17,999, so there's nothing extra to pay for the core trip. "Total kitna lagega?" ₹17,999, plus whatever you decide to spend on yourself.
And what might you spend on yourself? A pony ride, a sledge in the snow, a pashmina or a box of walnuts and dry fruit from Srinagar, a cup of kahwa at a roadside stall. Carry some cash: pony stands and small vendors in the valleys prefer it, and phone signal for UPI can be patchy up there.
Food on the trip is vegetarian. If you need Jain meals (no onion, garlic or root vegetables), tell us when you book and we'll request them from every kitchen on the route, but we can't guarantee Jain food at every stop, especially on the road days. Pack a few dry snacks as backup.
How the group is formed
You book one seat, for yourself. Everyone else on that departure has done the same thing, so nobody arrives as a ready-made gang of friends and nobody is the odd one out. Everyone starts from zero together, on the same bus, from the same Delhi departure.

The bus from Delhi: what to expect
The bus both ways is part of the ₹17,999. Be ready for a long ride: it's well over 800 km from Delhi to Srinagar, up through Haryana and Punjab to Jammu, then on National Highway 44 into the mountains. The last part is the one people remember. You go through the Chenani-Nashri tunnel, then wind through Ramban to Banihal on the hill road, then through the Navyug tunnel under the Pir Panjal, which since 2021 has taken traffic off the old, higher Jawahar Tunnel road. You come out at Qazigund, and the valley opens up in front of you.
New tunnels have made the highway much more reliable, but heavy rain can still bring landslides between Ramban and Banihal and hold traffic for a few hours. If that happens, the bus waits in the line like everyone else. It's normal on this road, not a sign that something has gone wrong.
For the bus, keep these in your day bag, not in the luggage hold:
- A neck pillow and a shawl or light blanket. Nights on the road get cold, more so once you're in the hills.
- A power bank and your charging cable.
- Motion-sickness tablets if hill roads bother you. The Ramban stretch is all bends.
- Dry veg snacks and a water bottle. Dhaba stops don't always come when you're hungry.
- Original photo ID. There are police checks on the highway, and every hotel asks for it at check-in.
- A postpaid SIM. Prepaid connections from outside J&K don't work in Kashmir, postpaid ones do. On prepaid? Sort out a postpaid number before you travel.
What women travelling alone ask us
"Who will I share a room with?" We share the rooming with you on WhatsApp before you pay. Booking alone? Ask for same-gender sharing when you book.
"Is it safe to come alone?" The places tourists go, Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg, are busy with Indian families and groups right through the season. On this trip you travel, eat and sightsee with the group, and our office at Pantha Chowk, Srinagar is a phone call away. Share your live location with someone at home and save both our numbers before you leave Delhi.
"What should I wear?" Whatever you'd wear on a hill trip in north India. Keep a scarf in your bag for shrines and the old city, where covered shoulders are the norm.
What to pack for the season
- October and November: Srinagar days are pleasant in October (average high about 23°C) but nights drop to about 6°C, and Gulmarg and Sonamarg are colder. By November it's colder still. Pack thermals, a fleece and a proper jacket.
- December to February: this is the snow the caption talks about. Nights go below freezing and Gulmarg is under snow. Pack thermals top and bottom, a padded jacket, woollen cap, gloves and waterproof shoes with grip. Our 17 September reel from Gulmarg Phase 2 already caught the first snow, but nobody can promise snow on a given date.
- Any month: one soft bag plus a day bag. It's easier in a bus hold and on hotel stairs than a big hard suitcase.
