What it costs in 2026

Prices are per person, twin share, two adults, on MAP (breakfast and dinner). Ground only — flights extra. Christmas, New Year, and tulip week cost more.

5-day itinerary (4N/5D)

Day 1 — Houseboat, Dal Lake

SXR pickup. Check in to a private houseboat. Evening Shikara (1 hour, included). Flower bed and cake are included this night. Candlelight dinner is an add-on — we quote it if you want it.

Day 2 — Gulmarg

Full day. Gondola if tickets exist (not included). Winter: chain check at Tangmarg. Return to Srinagar or overnight in Gulmarg if you asked for snow at the door.

Day 3 — Pahalgam

Drive via Pampore. Betaab or Aru at couple pace — not both if you want time off the road. Overnight in Pahalgam.

Day 4 — Srinagar slow, or Sonmarg

Return to a Srinagar hotel. Old city and a long lunch, or a Sonmarg day if the road is open. This is not a shopping marathon.

Day 5 — Fly

Airport with winter slack. Need seven days? Use the itinerary below.

7-day itinerary (6N/7D)

Same first three days, then an extra night in Pahalgam and a free morning in Srinagar before you fly. Quoted above the 5-day from-price once we know the month. Travelling with parents? Use the slower family package instead of stretching this one.

Stays

One houseboat night is the honeymoon default — deluxe dak on standard, luxury dak if you upgrade. Remaining nights are hotels in the category you pick, usually Pahalgam plus Srinagar (Gulmarg overnight only if you want snow outside the room). In December–February we confirm working heat before we lock the houseboat; some couples prefer a heated hotel instead, and we say so.

Best months for a couple

Dec–Feb — snow in Gulmarg. See the winter tour package if skiing is the point.
Mar–Apr — tulips. Book stays early; rooms go first.
May–Jun — meadows, long light, busiest roads.
Jul–Aug — yatra traffic on the Pahalgam road; we pace around it.
Sep–Oct — clearer views, cooler nights, fewer queues.

Questions couples actually ask

Are flights included in the Kashmir honeymoon package?

No. The ground package starts at Srinagar airport (SXR). Flights are extra; we can add tickets on request.

Is the houseboat private for the couple?

Yes. The houseboat night is for your couple only — a deluxe or luxury dak, not a shared room. We confirm heating before we book in winter.

Is the Gulmarg Gondola included?

No. Gondola Phase 1 and 2 tickets are extra and weather-dependent. We help you book them once dates are fixed.

Can we do this honeymoon in 4 days?

No. Five days is the floor if you want a houseboat night, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam without rushing. Four days means dropping a valley.
