Jubbarhatti, the Shimla airstrip, is not a Srinagar route. The practical start is the road from Shimla to Chandigarh, about four hours if the hills are clear, longer in rain or a weekend jam. From Chandigarh (IXC) you fly to Srinagar, either on a nonstop when one is on the board that week, or via Delhi. The all-road version is Shimla to Jammu and then NH44, which is two long days. We do not sell that as a shortcut.
A Shimla morning, a Chandigarh afternoon flight, and a Srinagar night is a good day when IXC–SXR exists. If you are routed via Delhi, you may not reach SXR until late. Gulmarg the same evening is out. Count the Chandigarh road as travel, not as a sightseeing stop, unless you want an extra night there.
Do not try to “cover” Shimla and Gulmarg as day trips on one holiday. If Shimla is home, leave it and give the valley its own nights: Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam. If you are touring Shimla first, finish the hills, sleep in Chandigarh, and fly the next morning.
