Pahalgam is the Lidder valley, with Betaab and Aru, and it is best with a night or two there; as a same-day trip from Srinagar it is a long drive. A same-day return taxi with us costs ₹2,500 in a Toyota Etios or Swift Dzire and ₹3,500 in an Innova Crysta, tolls and parking included. Our Pahalgam 5D/4N package is ₹19,999 per person (2 sharing, 5% GST included).
A morning in Betaab or Aru without a 6am departure from a Srinagar boat. The Lidder is in town. Baisaran is closed, and we do not plan it.

Amarnath registration traffic uses the Chandanwari side in the yatra window. Pahalgam town is busier then. A honeymoon that wants a quiet lane should avoid those weeks or stay on the Aru side of the plan. The permit is not part of a holiday booking. See the yatra guide.
