Cool nights, a quiet Nigeen houseboat and a 6-day nature loop, with nonstop BLR–SXR flights to start it.
For people leaving Bangalore traffic for cool air, rivers and pine forest. This plan uses a Nigeen houseboat instead of the busy Dal front, Sonmarg’s glacier valley and Pahalgam’s pine belt, with a private car and driver from our Srinagar team.
It works for couples, honeymooners and friends travelling together, and families can take it at a slower pace. See all Kashmir tour packages if you want a different theme.
As of October 2026, there are nonstop BLR–SXR flights. Air India Express flies the route daily, and IndiGo has a nonstop on most days, with timings that change with the season. The flight takes about 3 hours 20 to 3 hours 35 minutes. Check the live schedule on the airline site before you book. If the nonstop does not suit your dates, connecting via Delhi takes longer but has more options.
Flights are not included in our packages unless you ask; the trip starts with your pickup at Srinagar airport. If you are coming by a connection, we watch the arrival and adjust the first afternoon. Our Srinagar airport taxi page explains the pickup.
Couples from Bangalore often want quiet more than sightseeing. We keep the drives short, put the first night on a Nigeen houseboat with a Shikara at sunset, and make Pahalgam an overnight stay by the river. The Kashmir honeymoon package starts from ₹33,000 per person, twin share. If you want snow and a night in the meadow, look at the Gulmarg honeymoon package; for the river, the Pahalgam couples package.
April to June is green and busy. July and August are cooler than Bangalore expects, with the Amarnath Yatra traffic near Pahalgam and Sonmarg. September and October are clear and calm, and December to February brings snow in Gulmarg. See the best time to visit Kashmir for the month-by-month view.
Land at SXR and check into a houseboat on Nigeen Lake, away from the busier Dal front. Shikara at sunset if you have the energy.
A drive along the Sindh river to Sonmarg, then a walk or pony ride toward Thajiwas glacier. Read the Sonmarg guide.
Drive south to Pahalgam and check in among the pines. The evening is for the Lidder river.
Local union cars take you up to Aru and Betaab. Expect a weak phone signal and an unhurried day of walking. See the Pahalgam guide.
Drive to Gulmarg and ride the gondola, weather permitting. Phase 2 climbs toward Apharwat. Our gondola guide explains tickets.
Transfer to Srinagar airport for your flight back to Bangalore.
Flight information checked on 2 October 2026. Airline schedules change; confirm on the airline website before booking.
