What is open in a summer week?

Nishat, Shalimar, and Chashme Shahi are the Srinagar garden day. Gulmarg is grass and the gondola, not a ski lesson. Pahalgam, Betaab, and Aru are the valley nights. Sonmarg is often open; we check the week you travel.

Tulips are late March and April. Do not book a June holiday for the tulip garden. That visit is the tulip garden page.

Where do you sleep, and what is included?

A Dal or Nigeen houseboat for the Srinagar nights, and a hotel in Pahalgam for two nights so Betaab is a morning and not a dash. Gulmarg stays a day trip unless you ask to sleep in the meadow. The winter tour does the reverse: a heated Srinagar hotel first, and Gulmarg as the point of the trip.

Inclusions are the private car, breakfast, and Srinagar airport transfers. Gondola tickets, ponies, and flights are not in the line.

How is the week arranged?

Two nights Srinagar, one Gulmarg day back to the boat, two nights Pahalgam, then a last Srinagar night if the flight is the next morning. Long daylight means an evening shikara still works after a valley day.
