How do you get there?

The road is Srinagar to Tangmarg and then up to the meadow. It is a half-day return if you start after breakfast, and a poor idea after a late flight. Fresh snow can hold cars. We do not promise a dawn start after a storm.

What are you actually visiting?

The meadow, and the gondola if you hold a seat. Phase 1 reaches Kongdoori. Phase 2 continues toward Apharwat and is not included just because you came to Gulmarg. Buy seats on the cable car site, then tell us the slot. The booking notes are on the gondola page.

Summer is a walk and a viewpoint. Winter is snow, and skiing is a different product: the ski package keeps a meadow hotel. A one-day snow visit is the winter tour.

Where do people sleep?

Most of our bookings sleep in Srinagar and come up for the day. A Gulmarg hotel is worth it when you already have a gondola slot the next morning, or when you are skiing. It is a different rate, and January is not the same market as October.
