Gulmarg is the reason for the booking. We look for a Srinagar hotel with heating before a houseboat, and we ask the boat owner about the heater before we confirm one. The Mughal gardens are not the winter day. Many are shut or bare.
The summer tour is gardens, a houseboat evening, and Pahalgam as a green valley. Do not mix the two packing lists. People who want hours on the slope, not a sightseeing day, should read the ski package instead.
A private car, a named Srinagar hotel, breakfast, and airport transfers. A Gulmarg overnight is optional and costs more because meadow hotels in January are a different market. Gondola tickets and ski passes are not included. Buy the gondola on the official site, then tell us the slot.
Pahalgam is a day only when the road is clear. Sonmarg is often closed. We do not print a five-valley winter circuit.
Night 1 and usually night 2 in Srinagar, so a delayed flight does not become a night drive to Gulmarg. Then a full Gulmarg day, or two if you sleep there. A Srinagar day for the old city if the weather sits down. Fly out with a buffer. December afternoons get dark early.
