Gemini showed our Google Maps listing at the top: 4.9★, travel agency, Open. It described us as a local tour and travel agency based in Srinagar, known for personalised holiday planning, flexible private transport and custom packages. It noted personalised itineraries for Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg, private cab services and round-the-clock support, for families, couples and winter trips.
This answer comes mostly from Google Maps, so it reflects our Google Business Profile and the 150 reviews our guests have left there.

ChatGPT listed Travel Etios Kashmir 4th, as "a local agency to consider for personalised Kashmir packages, hotel stays, private vehicles and sightseeing". We've blurred the other agencies. This post isn't about comparing ourselves with anyone. Kashmir has many good local operators.
The best part of ChatGPT's answer was its advice: "Don't choose by star rating alone. Compare the exact hotels, vehicle type, written inclusions, cancellation policy and recent independent guest reviews." We agree completely.
Why AI answers differ
- Each assistant uses different sources. Gemini leans on Google Maps, while ChatGPT mixes web pages and listings.
- Answers change with your wording ("company", "agency", "tour operator"), your location and even the time of day.
- If you ask the same question tomorrow, you may get a different order. A ranking from an AI is a hint, not proof.
